Biography
Alexandra Dahlström has been born on the 12th of february 1984 in Gävle/Sweden. Her mother is russian, the father swedish. (therefore she speaks fluently swedish and russian!). She lives together with family (parents Irina+Hasse,Halfsister Jenny, little brother Rickard) in Stockholm's suburb Alvik. Despite of many, many offers for new roles for film,TV and theatre after her Mega-Hit "Show me Love" (Fucking Åmål), she has decided to finish the school and is supposed to study currently at the Stockholm university. Nevertheless has she accepted some offers for smaller and bigger roles during the summer and winter breaks, but it seems that she is aiming at a career behind the camera, after she her successful work as assistant director at the side of Lukas Moodysson in Lilja 4-ever, a swedish-danish co-production, playing in russia, and with her language skills she was the one who has made this movie possible. However, don't forget her incomparable humour. Sample : Her answer on the question what she likes at most "Watching the life and japanese cooking knives", on the questions what she wants to become when she has "grown up" : "Serialkiller. Or rockstar." She is a very brave and self-confident young woman, who dislikes and denies many of those things that mass-media are telling all young girls and women. That's why she hates "Vecko Revyn", a weekly swedish fashion and lifestyle magazin, manipulating girls with diets and beauty articles. In addition she hates it to be called "Darling" or "Honey" ("lilla gumman" in swedish) PS : Her favorite scene from "Show me love" is the footfetishscene, her idea by the way...
